Alice went out for a walk in Kowloon Tong this morning and found this beautiful peacock doors. It's the entrance to a Taoist temple. Just wonder whether peacocks represent a certain meaning in Taoism or not. Alice thought of peacocks as non-Chinese birds, so she was quite surprised in seeing these beautiful birds on the gates.
And there is the influence of Klimt in those curly branches!

A square door
Alice found this door in Newton Abbot. It is a typical door you can find in the south of England. Alice found this door particularly funny because it says, '4 the Square' . There is nothing square about the door! The owner may need a couple new glass panels for the door!

A grand door
On her way to the office, Alice will pass by this grand door. Located at the corner between Friedrichstraße and Dorotheenstraße. The decorative façades of the building may make the building an example of the Rococo style, but Alice has to read a bit more to be certain.
Alice just finds it a glamorous start in the morning!

A Sumo Door
Alice loves this door she found in Bloomsbury, London. It's a Sumo door. The door was, like most doors in that area, in Georgian architectural style. But Alice loves the little photo on the door - a child Sumo wrestler-wannabe was pushing an adult Sumo wrestler. That's how heavy the door is!

Pocoyo's doors
Pocoyo is one of Alice's favorite programs :). In this episode Pocoyo had fun with doors! Alice loves the subtitles, so she can learn some Spanish vocabulary as well!

A cheesy door
On a Saturday afternoon, Alice found this cheesy door. It got the perfect balance of the 70s wall paper feel. Alice can't say the door is not pretty, there are birds, a floating island, a clipper, a lighthouse, green grass, perfect blue sky...just cheesy...

One step ahead of the devil
Alice loves this door because of the number 667. On the window, it says, 'One Step Ahead of the Devil'. Yup, that's where everyone wants to be!

A door with a warning
The door itself is not really that impressive, but Alice loves the the sign above the door, 'Trespassers'.

A noughts and crosses door
On a Sunday stroll, Alice found this noughts and crosses door. It's not the most impressive door, but she likes the purple nought and cross on the green door.

Eye doors
Another fascinating building in Berlin. Alice doesn't know the style of the building, but she loves the door. She loves the lines and the cat eye like windows. Is this an example of Art Deco?

Doors of As
Alice found another door in Berlin: The Doors of As. It used to be the doors to a public library, but now it is only an empty building. Alice recognizes some languages, but it's quite fascinating to see A or the sound represented in different languages. A total of 117 languages!

Orange door
Anyway, it was a grayish day and the red building stood out among other old buildings. The orange door is absolutely spectacular!
